Went outside yesterday evening after dinner to cut the hedges and found the sky filled with hot air balloons. I had completely forgotten that there was a balloon festival on in town at the weekend. Lovely.

So, determined not to miss the fun we got up this morning at 6.30am and headed for Kilkenny Castle where they were due to starting launching for morning flights at 7am. Except there were no blue skies this morning. It rained and rained and rained, and they called the whole thing off.
Oh well, back to bed.
