Blue Skies
Take a look at this:
Sky, Ireland, June 2006
Yes, it's just sky, but it's blue, blue sky and it has been like that here for pretty much a week now.
I was in Boots in Kilkenny to-day and it was thronged with tourists buying up all the sun screen they could get.
Obviously, when people told them to be prepared for the weather in Ireland to do just about anything, a week of constant sunshine and temperatures in the high 70's was not what they expected!

This needs to stop or summer will be all used up by the end of June when I visit!

That's a risk alright!!
Bad news is they are forecasting an end to all this decadent basking in sunshine at the weekend.
Good news is the bad stuff should pass within a few days and hopefully by the time you get here (ab)normal summer weather will have resumed! And they might even have managed to replenish stocks of sun screen by then - currently it is pretty much impossible to get around here!
