The Achill Dive Centre is located in Purteen, a small harbour on Achill Island off the coast of Co Mayo, where visitors will discover some of the best and most interesting diving waters in Ireland
Courses are available for all level from introductory 'Discover Scuba' courses for absolute beginners to advanced training leading to PADI certification for experienced divers, including instructor training.
Dive trips are arranged to areas along the coast of Achill, as well as to others accessible only by boat - the ride to the dive location in our twin-engine dinghy is an adventure in itself!
The waters off Achill Island have an abundance of marine life from sea cucumbers to lobsters and cray fish and a number of varieties of crab. You may also visiting basking sharks in May and June and dolphins which visit these waters all year round.
The centre is fully PADI-certified and courses are led by some of Ireland's most experienced divers.
