The Bín Bán Gallery (the name means "White Gable") is located in a beautfully restored and refurbished 18th century building close to the centre of Tralee. Thegallery shows the work of some of leading contemporary and traditional Irish artists, many of them living in the Kerry area. A regular programme of special exhibitions takes place all year round and the work of the gallery's other artists is always available.
Those exhibiting typically include some well known names as well as less well known emerging artists.
As well as paintings the Bín Bán Gallery also stock a range of limited edition prints, including an series of prints of scenes from around Tralee by local artist Jane Savage, which would make excellent gifts or souvenirs of your visit to the town.
Handmade jewellry and a selection of small antiques are also on sale in what is a very pleasant place to spend a little time while touring Kerry.
