Berry Lodge, an 18th century house which has been modernised without losing any of its original character, offers superb accommodation in a relaxed homely athmosphere and excellent food in the heart of beautiful Co. Clare.
Guest room are decorated in Victorian style, all have private ensuite bathrooms, large wardrobes, TV and hairdryers. Children are welcomed and cots can be provided.
There is a highly rated restaurant, open to both residents and non-residents each evening during July and August and on request at other times of the year.
The menu draws on the excellent ingredients which are available locally and emphasises fresh, natural and organically grown foods in season flavoured with home grown herbs and light vegetable stocks. Vegetarian and wholefood options are always available. Booking for the restaurant is highly recommended.
There is a very popular Cookery School at Berry Lodge which holds a range of one day and longer courses throughout the year.
