Blazing Salads is a wholefood deli, run by the Fitzmaurice family who themselves have been eating a whole food diet for two generations.
The deli has a wide range of delicious soups, salads, hot meals, bread, cakes and savouries, produced fresh daily for customers to take away. It's enormously popular with both those working in central Dublin and visitor to the city.
The family bakery provides a selection of hand moulded organic breads, including Sourdough and Spelt loaves, baguettes and Ciabatta not just to the deli but to many other stores and restaurants.
Blazing Salads is definitely not just for those who have adopted an entirely whole food approach to eating - everyone can and does enjoy the fresh delicious food.
On a fine day in Dublin visitors can buy a complete meal to take to a city park - St Stephen's Green perhaps - and enjoy alfresco.
