Burren Wild Guided Walking Tours offer a variety of day and weekend hikes though the magical region of the Burren in Co Clare.
Tours are available for all levels of experience and groups sizes and are sociable, relaxed, and lots of fun. All are within the capabilities of anyone with a moderate level of fitness - you needn't be an experienced hiker or hill-walker to enjoy any tour.
Tours are led by John Connolly, a Burren native who grew up on a small farm in the area and now has a B.A. in Irish Heritage, with a special interest in Mythology, Archaeology, Folklore and Celtic Spirituality.
As well as just taking in the extraordinary scenery of the Burren, participants will get a great introduction to the history and archaeology of the Burren, it unique botany, and will hear about folklore & folk traditions of the area.
Special walks can be arranged for corporate groups and school tours.
