Castle Country House is located on a working farm just outside Dungarvan in County Waterford. Internationally recognised for its high quality accommodation and the real warmth of its welcome, Castle Country House has a five-diamond award rating from both the AA and RAC.

The house is a restored wing of a 16th century castle, with parts of the old castle incorporated into its stucture, for example there is an original cut stone archway in the dining room.

spacious bedrooms are beach individually furnished with period furniture, all have private bathrooms and large beds dressed with crisp white linen. Tea and coffee making facilities, televisions, hairdryers and toiletries are provided in each room.

Guest rooms have wonderful views over the surrounding farmland and countryside - the River Finisk, a well known fishery, flows through the farm and rods and reels can be provided for those who would like to try catching their own breakfast!

Otherwise you can choose from a tasty selection of options on the breakfast menu, all freshly home cooked and often including home produce from the farm and gardens.

Guests can experience a slice of Irish farming life, walking the fields or watching the cows being milked morning and evening.
