Cinemobile was Ireland's first mobile cinema and is contained in a large truck which transforms into a 100 seater state of the art cinema which is fully heated and air conditioned and equipped with Dolby Surround Sound.
The cinema tours towns without access to cinema, many of which are in areas popular with visitors to Ireland. Regular locations include Kenmare, Waterville and Cahirciveen in Co Kerry, Castletownbere in Co Cork and Lahinch and Kilkee in Co Clare and Clifden and Portumna in Co Galway - so look out for it on your travels!
The cinema is often a feature of festivals and special events and can also be hired for private screenings or corporate events.
Generally six films at shown each location, with screenings three times daily, early afternoon, matinee and evening. Films are updated regularly.
The cinema is wheelchair accessible.
