Errislannan Manor is a Connemara Pony Stud and Riding Centre located just south of Clifden, overlooking a lake and surrounded by Connemara's moors and mountains.
Specialising in providing riding for children, there are treks by the hour on Connemara Ponies every weekday morning, with longer treks or day courses available by arrangement. Week long residential courses are also organised during the summer months.
Treks take a route through the beautiful Connemara countryside, with magnificent views all around, and down to a beach and are suitable for riders of all levels.
Trout fishing on the lake is also available by prior arrangement.
Visitors who are not riding can explore the wonderful garden at Errislannan, which include herbaceous borders, and orchard and arboretum spread over a large area. There is something to see in the garden all year round, from the daffodils and bluebells of spring to the vibrant orange Mombretia in August and the wonderful leaf colours of the Autumn.
