Ghan House is beautifully situated on Carlingford Lough, overlooked by the Mourne Mountains. It's a lovely rural location yet just over an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast airports.

Restaurant

Open on weekends and every night for residents the restuarant serves an interesting menu which included home-baked breads, vegetables and herbs from the house garden and the best of local produce, such as Cooley lamb, Carlingford mussels and oysters, dry cured bacon and free range eggs.

Regular Gourmet nights are very popular and need to be booked well in advance.

Cookery School

Ghan house has a very highly regarded cookery school attached, with courses held year round on a variety of topics including Breadmaking, Thai, Italian & Spanish cookery, seafood Cookery, Easy Entertaining and much more!
