Located in a valley at the meeting of Loch Conn and Loch Cullen, the Pontoon Bridge Hotel has been run by the Geary family since 1964.
The hotel has recently undergone extensive renovation to provide 58 guest bedrooms including suites, Executive and standard rooms. All rooms are very comfortably furnished and have private bathrooms with both shower and bath.
Room facilities include direct dial telephone, TV, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, iron and ironing board and broadband internet connection. Superior rooms are extra large and have wonderful views from terraces or balconies, while executive suites have open plan living rooms with fireplaces.
The Waterfront Bar is a great place to enjoy a drink while watching the sun set over the lakes and offers a menu of light meals and snack throughout the day. There is live entertainment in the bar on many evenings during the summer season.
The Twin Lakes Restaurant with its full height windows takes full advantage of the stunning views and serves a menu featuring the very best of International cuisine is cooked fresh daily by chef Mary Geary.
Courses
The Pontoon Bridge Hotel has three highly rated schools under the one roof offering courses in Cookery, landscape painting and fishing. All courses are expertly run by experienced tutors and combine hands on learning with an element of fun.
