The Kenny Gallery is a must visit destination for anyone with an interest in art, and in particular Irish art.
For more than half 50 years they have been showing the work of emerging Irish artists, a good number of whom have gone on to become well known names. Jack Yeats, Paul Henry, Sean Keating, George Campbell, Louis Le Broquy, are just some of those whose early paintings were on the walls at Kenny's.
There are special exhibitions throughout the year but at all times you will see carefully selected work from hundreds of artists working in a very broad range of styles in the Gallery.
It's not an intimidating place at all and visitors to Galway are more than welcome to stop by, browse and enjoy the art. There are works available from just a few hundred Euro and Kennys are experienced in organising safe and secure overseas shipping of any purchases.
