Yeats Winter Weekend

A Winter companion to the better known Yeats Summer School , this weekend event is an opportunity to learn more about one of Ireland’s greatest poets in a friendly atmosphere and surrounded by the places he loved and which influenced his poetry.
The programme each year consists of morning lectures followed by guided tours to places of interest in the afternoon, generally including tours of Lough Gill and of Lissadell House and a visit to Yeat’s burial place at Drumcliffe.
Always there are lively evenings planned, with music on Friday and dinner on Saturday night, and this is a friendly and convivial gathering.
