Planetlove is Ireland’s biggest dance and electonica music festival and in a single day will bring seven arenas, 11 hours of music and over 70 of the world’s finest DJs to Fairyhouse Racecourse.
Although it’s held in June, the organisers have a pessimistic realistic view of the Irish climate and all but one of the stages are indoors, making the event pretty much weatherproof.
The 2009 line-up includes top international names Ferry Corsten, Dave Clarke, Markus Schulz, Judge Jules, Hot Chip DJs, YOJI and Marco V as well as an ‘Irish Legends’ stage that showcase some of the best DJs – old and new – that Ireland has to offer.
Clubbing brands hosting the arenas include Streetlife (house/techno), Letrik (trance), Hed Kandi (VIP) and the event showpiece Love Arena.
The festival village will feature fully licensed bars, food stalls and shops, as well as a fun fair! This is yet another festival that is quick to show recognition of the times in which we live and there is a ticket price freeze, so you get more this year for the same as you paid last year.
