DylanFest on the Lough

Moville, Co Donegal

A must for all Dylan fans,  Ireland’s only annual festival dedicated to Bob Dylan and his music takes place in Moville, Co Donegal from July 1st to 4th.

Events take place in the streets, bars and pubs of this small and picturesque town as well as in the grounds of the hostel at Gulladuff House and on the shores of the salmon fishing Lough Foyle.

Dylan tribute bands will be at the centre of things,  with Al Diesan and Pino Tocco, who made such a big impact in 2010 set to return and Jacques Mees, who is the supremo of the Dutch DylanFest in Tilburg , also playing.

There are also other musical acts and there will be Open Mic sessions for those would like to sing or play.

Moville is 18 miles north of Derry and the nearest airport is City of Derry. There are buses from Dublin and Derry.
