Golf at Baltray is a challenge for golfers of all abilities – this links course is one of the finest and the trickiest in Ireland.

The Irish Open, which dates back to 1927, is extremely popular as a spectator event, as is the pro-am which takes place before it – so if you plan to attend, book early.
The venue this year is the beautiful Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, a great venue and one where non-golfers will find plenty to do away from the course.
Despite declining stocks of some fish, Ireland remains an excellent fishing destination, whether you are an angler in search of trout and salmon or prefer the salt water, either from the shore or out at sea.

With both clay shooting and a rifle range available, Lough Bo can cater for complete beginners and experience shooters alike.

There are also summer camps available for kids.
