This is a modern and very well run centre with excellent facilities and very good horses and ponies.
Short treks of an hours duration through the Wicklow Mountains are very popular with visitors and is available for all levels of rider, who will each be matched to a mount that will give them the most enjoyment. Those who fancy a gallop on the beach can ride to nearby Brittas Bay beach, where two miles of wide sand provide near perfect conditions if the weather is right.
Experienced riders will enjoy the challenge offered by the very well built cross country course here, with plenty of water obstacles to (not) fall into! Longer trail rides are not available here.
The equestrian village includes a racing yard, which breaks and schools young horses, provides rehabilitation for those recovering from injury and prepares horses for sale. There is also a stud so those visiting in Summer will be treated to the site of the foals kicking up their heels in the surrounding fields.
As part of a holiday village with a variety of accommodation options and a therapeutic spa, it is a good place to stay for a week or so and combine sight-seeing with varied and interesting riding.
