Very good horses and excellent trekking over farmlands, through the Galtee Mountains and the beautiful Glen of Aherlow.

Ths is the centre for the Ballyhoura Trail, a week long fully guided trail ride through the most magnificent scenery in an area of Ireland that sees far fewer visitors than it deserves. Staying in a different place each night, the trail takes you 3000 ft up into the Galtee mountains, over grouse moors, along lakeside tracks and over some terrific natural cross-country obstacles.

While this is suitable only for adults and older children with some experience, all levels are catered for on shorter rides. There is a good variety of horses available, from the quiet and steady for beginners to those with plenty of get-up and go for more experienced riders.

The centre also specialises in hunting breaks, with pre-hunting courses also provided, making good use of the more than 100 natural and man-made obstacles on the cross country course.
