Not a club but a pay-as-you-go course, though with excellent facilities and a very well kept and interesting course. The course was designed by Patrick Merrigan who is also responsible for the courses at the Slieve Russell and the Old Head of Kinsale.
Much of the course is built alongside the Owencurra River, which is cleverly used to provide interest and challenge. The signature hole is the par 3 12th, where you aim at the green over a lake and its swans - it is quite a test for any golfer.
This is not a long course, at 6223 yards it is a par 70, but there is enough interest here and sufficient challange to make it a worthwhile test for golfers of any level.
Extremely good value and well worth a visit.
