Wicklow Gardens Festival
The Wicklow garden festival runs throught May, June and July and into August and a total of 41 gardens will take part this year, ranging from the formal 17th century gardens of Killruddery House to small recently created ones not normally open to the public.
Special tours of the gardens are arranged to coincide with the Festival and in the smaller gardens the guide will almost always be owner and creator of the garden, an enthusiast who will be delighted to chat and share information with visiting gardeners.
Many of the larger gardens expecially host special events or plant sales during the Festival.
