Dublin Fringe Festival
The Fringe Festival, which runs just prior to the Dublin Theatre Festival is the fastest growing cultural event in Ireland and serves up a huge programme of events at venues throughout the city.
Concentrating primarily on theatre, the festival is well known for the experimental nature of many of its shows, and provides a unique opportiunity for both Dublin residents and visitors to the city to see innovative and celebrated contemporary International artists and practices.
There are also dance, music, visual art streams and street and outdoor events and spectacles. Full details of the 2008 festival have yet to be announced.
