The Midlands Music Festival is not taking place in 2008.
Perhaps one for the more, um, mature audience this, with many of the acts that drew massive crowds to festivals like Lisdoonvarna in the '70's and '80s appearing in the 2006 line up. Jackson Browne, Kenny Rogers, Emmylou Harris, Loudain Wainwright, Don McClean and Van Morrison were among the big names last yer.
There is a country music feel to things, and its a great location for it with the backdrop of Ballinlough Castle and rolling countryside all around.
