For many people going to the Curragh is a real excuse to dress up, and Ireland's wealthiest people will all be here this weekend, dressed to kill. It's smart, fashionable and the place to see and be seen.

The racing is what it's really all about though, and some of the best of Europe's flat racers will contest the Boylesports 1000 and 2000 Guineas, both classic events, over the weekend.

While the fashionable set sip champagne in their private marquees and boxes, there is plenty for ordinary folk to see and so and there is no course quite like the Curragh to enjoy the thrilling spectacle of beautiful horses at full speed.
