Child Friendly Attractions and Activities in Ireland
Ireland is a pretty child friendly country - and they see fun even in the parts we adults don't like so much, like rain. All those lovely puddles!!
One thing of which you need to be aware is that children are not allowed in pubs after 8pm in the evening.
This may not seem relevant, but many of the best value places to eat in Ireland are in restaurants either in or attached to pubs. It is thus a good idea to eat early if a pub is the best local option, though to be honest the rule is not that strictly applied in practice.
Family Friendly Accommodation
Almost all hotels in Ireland, and most guesthouses and B&B's, are happy to accommodate children, will have family rooms and can provide equipment like high chairs, cribs, foldout beds and so on to their guests.
However you really want much more than just that, and we have a list of places to stay in Ireland that both kids and their parents will really enjoy.
