Ireland's Parks and Zoos
There are three main Zoos in Ireland.
- Dublin Zoo, located in the Phoenix Park close to the city centre
- Fota Wildlife Park on a Island near Cork city
- Belfast Zoo, again conveniently located for the city.
There are parks, many of which have children's playgrounds, in most large towns and these are very good places to take a picnic on a sunny day. The ones listed below are those which are worth a visit in their own right.
