Ireland's Parks and Zoos

There are three main Zoos in Ireland.

Dublin Zoo, located in the Phoenix Park close to the city centre
Fota Wildlife Park on a Island near Cork city
Belfast Zoo, again conveniently located for the city.

There are parks, many of which have children's playgrounds, in most large towns and these are very good places to take a picnic on a sunny day. The ones listed below are those which are worth a visit in their own right.
