Ireland Visitor Discounts Pass
The completely free Ireland Visitor Discounts Pass offers visitors to Ireland anything from a 10% reduction in admission to two-for-one admission to a wide range of visitor attractions thoughout the country.
I've seen several sites on the Internet that sell discount books or vouchers promising two-for-one deals for visitors to Ireland when in actual fact this is what they are selling - something that is entirely free anyway. Watch out for these scammers - they are just waiting to take advantage of the unwary.
The issuers of the pass claim that it offers reductions or freea dmission at around 130 locations, though in reality its rather fewer, as those places they list as offering free admission to pass holders are free to enter anyway, with or without the pass. But we'll let that slide by, after all it is a free pass!
Nevertheless there are around 60 places where you will get a two for one deal, and the savings can really stack up over an average vacation in Ireland. Take a look at the list below of some of the more commonly visted sights which are included and see what a difference it could make to your budget.
If you were to visit all of these places, which would not be unusual on a 10-14 day visit to Ireland, you would save almost €100 - that's the price of a very fne meal indeed in a good restaurant!

Note: The free Ireland Visitor Discounts pass is issued by Heritage Island and should not be confused with the Heritage Card , which is a paid for card issued by the Heritage Council. Yes, it's a bit confusing, but don't worry about it - just get this pass! There is no duplication between the places where you'll save on these two cards/passes - so our recommdation is that you have both.
Should You Get an Ireland Visitor Discount Pass
It's a complete no brainer - this pass is completely free and offers significant savings, of course you should get one!
Not only that but it's very easy to get, all you have to do is print this page and take it with you to Ireland.
The discounts offered by each pass apply, according to the terms and conditions, to a maximum of two adults traveling together. However there is no reason that I can see why you cannot just get a pass for every two adults if you are travelling in a larger party. It might be wise to present yourselves in groups of two however! Basically what they intend there is that large groups, such as those traveling on tour buses, cannot show up with a pass and demand a two-for-one deal for an entire coach party.
