Student & Teacher Travel Discounts in Ireland
Student Discounts
Holders of either of the following student cards:
- The International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
- The International Student Exchange Identity Card (ISE)
get a 50% discount on trains throughout the Ireland with a Travelsave Stamp. The stamp is available from USIT in Dublin, as are ISIC cards if you do not already have one.
A valid card with a stamp also provides a 15% discount on bus fares outside Dublin and reduced cost weekly travel passes within Dublin.
Cardholders also get reductions on train and ferry transport throughout Europe.
Teacher's Discounts
Holders of either of the following teacher's cards:
- The International Teacher's Identity Card (ITIC)
- The ISE Faculty Card
are entitled to pretty much the same benefits as students get above. Again, a travel stamp will be required from USIT.
