Abbey House: Thomastown, Co Kilkenny
Type: Bed and Breakfasts
Right beside Jerpoint Abbey, this house is a good example of a Georgian farmhouse and is a bed and breakfast of very high quality indeed.
Bedrooms are airy and bright and are decorated and furnished in traditional style without being overly fussy. All have private bathrooms and good amenities.
An excellent breakfast is served and there are numerous good places to eat in nearby Thomastown.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.

Having tea in Helen's parlor and her fabulous breakfasts are amongst my
happiest memories of my last trip to Ireland.

Words cannot describe how good this b&b is. Freshly squeezed orange juice,
food to die for and fresh white linen everywhere. Topped with the most
genuinely friendly professional staff and owners. Best B&b I have ever
stayed in.
