No need to request a room with a view here - they all overlook Killarney's lakes and mountains. This five star hotel (the name is pronounced aha-doh) provides the ultimate in luxury and service, from very well appointed bedrooms with large bathrooms to the restful spa and pool with its wonderful views.
Even the standard bedrooms are large, but upgrade and they are enormous. The linen is top-quality, there are fluffy towels and bathrobes and quality toiletries, the beds are huge and comfortable. All in all the rooms here are a wonderful place to come back to after a hard day touring!
Frederick's restaurant is exceptional and there is a nice terrace bar. The staff are friendly and happy to chat and share their knowledge of the area.
It's expensive for sure, but you absolutely do get what you paid for.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
