While the speciality here is residential riding holidays at the excellent equestrian centre run by the owners, it is also a good place to stay for those with no interest in horses!
The house is a lovely welcoming country home, unfussy but very nicely decorated, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Big comfortable bedrooms are bright and cheerful, well furnished and have good en suite bathrooms. They are easily of the standard of a good hotel and have lovely views over the quiet and lush Meath counryside.
Children are welcome and it is a family friendly place - a family live here after all! A great breakfast is served, with homemade bread and a choice of cooked options.
The location is convenient both to Dublin and to those touring the Bru na Boinne area, and is a real gem if you are heading to the airport, just 15 minutes away. You are garaunteed a good night's sleep before your journey in this peaceful location, which is definitely not the case at many of the airport hotels.
The place is something of a well kept secret among its Irish guests for one remarkable facility - you can park your car here, securely and free of charge and be taken to the airport for your flight! Given the cost of airport parking, this could easily make a stay at Broadmeadow essentially free.
