A Manor House Hotel in a carefully restored Georgian building with the feel of an elegant private house.
The bedrooms are gorgeous, many have four poster or tester beds, each is individually decorated and all have very good bathrooms with power showers.
The level of service and facilities is high, with 24-hour room service, a valet service and modem points in rooms. There is a good restaurant - breakfast in the conservatory is an experience in itself - but no bar.
It's at least a 20 minute walk to the city centre although a Dart station is adjacent with regular trains that will get you there in about 5 minutes.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
