Consistently rated very highly by those who stay there, you will need to book your room early. There are just 5 bedrooms, all of them of better than usual size, comfortable and well decorated and with excellent bathrooms. But the welcome is what makes the most impact, you really will feel like a family guest.

Breakfast is taken at a communal table and the chat is always plentiful and there is sometimes music played by the host, a traditional musician.

It is a little outside the centre, about a 15 minute walk, but for those who want to sample a really good bed and breakfast this is among the best you will find anywhere.

Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with breakfast.

I adore the host at Dunromin and they are the most helpful, wonderful people. I recommend Dunromin to all my friends who will be visiting Ireland.

We have just had another enjoyable stay at DUNROMIN - have been staying on & of for last 15yrs or so. Excellent atmosphere and always made welcome . It is like a second home. We highly recommend it!
