Just 6 miles from Waterford city this luxury hotel in a fantastic 18th century house feels miles away from anywhere. Its conversion to a hotel was done with great care to preserve the best of this old house while providing excellent accommodation.
Bedrooms in the original house are more interesting than those in the new wing, but all are beautifully decorated with luxurious accommodation. Good restaurants and bars also.
The excellent hotel golf course is very popular even with non-residents, so booking your tee-times in advance is recommended. There is a spa and pool, but the spa is looking a little tired and in need of upgrading and redecoration. The treatments are good, but the surroundings somewhat below par.
Self-catering accommodation is also available and is a more reasonably priced way to experience Faithlegg.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.

I have stayed here several times and its sometimes great sometimes not. It
is a great getaway location, but the service can range from brilliant to
awful. I think it was a lot better at the begining after it was done up.
The rooms are still very nice though and the leisure centre too. I am not a
golfer - if you are it is probably a great place as the course seems to be
good by all accounts.
