Close to Dublin, this manor house is in a quiet setting, surrounded by trees at the centre of a small estate.
The house is elegantly decorated in a style that suits the age of the house, but has a friendly and relaxed athmosphere. An unattractive extension somewhat takes away from the main house,and although all rooms have private bathrooms and are well furnished and equipped, rooms in the extension are more modern and generally better than the older ones.
There are also suites with kitchenettes which are very spacious and a practical choice for anyone staying for longer than a couple of days.
There is a good restaurant and a leisure centre with a nice pool.
Finnstown is a popular venue for commercial events, which can mean that the public areas become fairly crowded at times, but these events do not really cause any problems or noise for residents.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
