Very centrally located on the Quay, this hotel has been a fixture in Waterford for 200 years and is one of the oldest hotels in the country. It has been updated to provide all the facilities of a modern hotel but without losing the charm of its history.
Some bedrooms are on the small side but all are nicely decorated and have good bathrooms. The street front rooms have the best views but can be noisy, so if quiet matters ask for a room at the back.
The restaraunt here is adequate, but you might be better exploring the many excellent options within walking distance.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
