In an impressive location overlooking the River Foyle right in the heart of the city, this is a new hotel, which opened in 2004. It is large and modern and not, in our opinion, a very attractive building from the outside, but very stylish inside and with excellent service.
The standard of accommodation is high, with spacious bedrooms, excellent bathrooms and a few suites available. There is a very good restaurant, a popular bar that serves a good snack menu all day and a leisure centre with a small pool.
There are often good reductions for booking online at their own site, though family rooms are apparantly not available that way which seems odd as they do have them. In fact this is a particularly family-friendly hotel, with a kiddies play area in the leisure centre that will really wow the under-4's.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
