Harcourt St, Dublin 2
Good guesthouses in the centre of Dublin are uncommon, this family run and friendly place, with 28 rooms, is one of those gems. The house is a typical Georgian Townhouse, nicely furnished and decorated though it is not a home-from-home sort of place.
The location is good, close to the south central part of town and especially to the National Concert Hall. Bedrooms are fine, nothing very special but comfortable, very clean and roomy with small but well equiped bathrooms. The rooms on the top floor, which are in the eaves, are smaller than those lower down. All represent very good value indeed in an area of often overpriced accommmodation.
Another advantage of staying here is the availability of safe free parking - by no means available at all hotels in Dublin now.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
