Cork City
This famed 5 star hotel offers the ultimate in luxury, with no detail to small to have escaped in the quest for perfection - it really is as close to perfect as a hotel can be.
Bedrooms are exceptional - large, beautiful and filled with antiques and wonderful fabrics. Each has a marble bathroom of unusual luxury supplied with Molton Brown toileteries. It's hard not to gush!
The restaurant is suberb, the decor pristine, the surroundings perfect and the service friendly without the slighest hint of stuffiness.
For a luxury hotel this is a surprisingly family friendly place, with mini bathrobes and milk and cookies at bedtime provided for smaller guests.
Yes, it is expensive, but worth every penny.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
