In a lovely Victorian Townhouse close to the centre is Wexford town, this place looks good but unexceptional from outside but do not be fooled - it is one of the best bed and breakfasts in Ireland.
The six bedrooms are all pure luxury, wonderful antique beds (though with comfortable modern mattesses!) and very nice decor with really good private bathrooms. Each has its own personality but there is not a bad one among them.
In the morning you will know why this place wins award after award - many people come just for the quite out of the ordinary breakfasts. Both owners are former chefs, and they really go to town here, with homemade jams and marmalade, a selection of freshly home baked breads and a staggering selection of hot dishes. You really will want to stay for several days just to eat your way through this menu!
Book early, this place is deservedly popular and people return again and again.
