A real working family farmhouse of the old style with the warmth and hospitality which that implies fully in evidence. The building is in an unusual castellated style and from the outside looks quite imposing and grand, even a little intimidating.

However the warmth of the greeting makes guests feel instantly at home and inside the house is cosy and welcoming, with old fashioned decor and antique furniture in both bedrooms and dining areas and with the comfort of guests always given priority.

Breakfast is served at a communal table in a traditional dining room with sideboards laden with family treasures and exceptionally good food.

This is a real home and feels like one, with the clutter and activity of everyday family life all around - a pleasant change from some of the more sterile accommodation that has become all too common. Newpark House is traditional bed and breakfast accommodation at its best.

Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with breakfast.
