You round a bend on a country road and there it suddenly is - a large and impressive hotel with fountains playing in front and something quite 'bling' about it.
It doesn't just look good, it offers a lot - spacious public areas, very large and extremely well appointed bedrooms, an excellent leisure centre and a top class 18 hole golf course.
Good bars and restaurants complete the picture. If there is a quibble it is that the hotel is popular for both weddings and conferences, with the attendent noise and chaos they can bring, and that service can be a bit "unjoined up" and patchy at times.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.

Stayed last summer whilst attending a wedding at this hotel, the food was
absoloutly terrible. I would not have considered the food to be of one star
standard, never mind four.
