A 5 star boutique hotel, very centrally located beside Belfast City Hall.
The building is an old one but internally it is decorated in a minimalist Asian influenced style. There are 23 bedrooms, some a bit on the small side for a hotel of this standard but all decorated very stylishly indeed. Rooms are full of unexpected touches - like a DVD player in each room, truely enormous beds and fabulous toiletries in the bathrooms, many of which have sunken baths with plenty of room for two!
The excellent if seriously pricey restaurant, Porcelain, is very popular with locals. In fact the hotel is generally popular and, particulary at weekends, buzzes at nighttime. If you want an early night away from the noise ask for a higher up room.
It is expensive but very good last minute deals are often available on Internet.
One sour note - car parking is not available at the hotel but must be paid for at an adjacent car park. This closes at 8pm and does not open on Sundays and in order to have access to your car at out of hours times you need to contact reception and acquire a special voucher. This is all a bit tedious.

breakfast.
