More Accommodation in Co Limerick
Limerick City
A 4 star riverside hotel in the city centre with bedrooms that are bigger than usual and of a high standard. Apartments, with cooking facilities, are also available.
There are lively bars, popular with locals, the restaurant is good and the bar serves excellent Thai style food all day.
It is Ireland's tallest hotel and the views from the high rooms over the River Shannon are terrific - ask for one when you book. In particular ask for a room on the side overlooking King John's Castle.
Facilities include a leisure centre with a (small) swimming pool.
One drawback is the lack of hotel parking - you must part in a multi-storey carpark close by and it is quite expensive.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
