Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow

Leighlinbridge is a pretty village just off the Carlow Kilkenny road and the restaurant and bar at the Lord Bagenal has long been popular with denizens of both towns for its excellent food and especially its justly famed wine list.

The bedrooms are a later addition and maintain the high standards elsewhere, they are spacious, stylish, comfortable and very well equipped, easily the match of those in a good hotel.

There are also a number of self-catering apartments available which overlook the river and are decorated to a similarly high standard.
