More Accommodation in Co Down
Portaferry, Co Down
All bedrooms in this harbour-side inn have magnificent views over Strangford Lough, which are enough to justify a visit on their own! The building is a clever blend of old and new, with a light modern style inside which perfectly compliments the old stone of the main building.
Rooms are bright and airy, well equipped with good bathrooms and comfortable beds. While all are good, the attic rooms have particular character and the best Lough views.
There is a very popular restaurant in the hotel, which is probably the best place to eat in town and good value too. The building is completely wheelchair accessible, which is unusual in a converted older building and sets an example that many could usefully follow.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
