A very well restored Victorian townhouse right in the centre of town, with very comfortable accommodation in good sized well decorated bedrooms with private bathrooms.
The welcome is particularly friendly and as the excellent breakfast is taken in a small dining room at communal tables, it is a good place to meet up and chat with other travellers.
Another house has been restored by the same owners, The Merchants House, which is in a restored listed Georgian building, is more central and equally good. In the latter however not all rooms have private bathrooms, so specify your wish for one when you book.
Rates guides are per room for 2 people, usually with
breakfast.
