The biggest dance and electonica music festival in Ireland brings seven arenas, 11 hours of music and over 70 of Ireland’s and the world’s finest DJs to Fairyhouse Racecourse in June.

There are fully licensed bars, food stalls and shops, as well as a fun fair and most of the action is indoors so weather is no problem.

Billing itself as “Small but Massive”, this one-day festival has grown from small beginnings to an extravaganza with 4 stages and over 50 acts, mainly new and emerging Irish bands and artists.

It’s friendly and carnival like atmosphere saw it voted the most family friendly music festival in Ireland in 2008.

Since 1951 Wexford has been bringing lesser known operas to a loyal and appreciative audience that travels annually from all over the globe.

There are lots of fringe events for everyone to enjoy too, from music sessions in pub, to street entertainment, art exhibitions and local tours.

The New Ross Piano Festival continues to attract some of the most interesting and talented pianists on the International circuit for a feast of music that draws ever larger crowds.

This year a couple of young emerging pianists join more established favourites on what looks like another excellent programme.
