This is a small friendly jazz festival held in the lovely West Cork village of Ballydehob and is one that you should get along to even if you are not a huge jazz fan.
The headline act for 2009 was the Joe Davidian Trio, who headed up a very strong line up. Expect more of the same in 2010.

It is a mystical and beautiful place to visit and is located in the heart of the Wicklow National Park, one of the most scenic areas in Ireland and a magnet for hill walkers.

Skellig Micheal off the Kerry coast is a World heritage site, site of an ancient Christian Monastery and an important wild bird sanctuary.
But it’s more than that, it’s an extraordinary place and although the climb to the top is arduous a visit to Skellig Michael is an experience you will never forget.

It doesn’t sound like much, but there is something special about colcannon, it’s the ultimate comfort food. It’s so special that there is even a song in its praise!

Hurling is a traditional Irish sport whose origins go back more than 700 years and which is still hugely popular today.
Its a fast paced and exciting game, played by amateurs but attracting huge crowds – up to 80,000 people attend the annual all-Ireland final.
