The Fringe Festival, which runs just prior to the Dublin Theatre Festival is the fastest growing cultural event in Ireland and serves up a huge programme of events at venues throughout the city.
Unlike most fringe festivals, this is a fully curated event with very high standards.
Concentrating primarily on theatre, the festival aims to stage an event where ‘artists challenge, subvert and invigorate their disciplines and practice‘. It is well known for the experimental nature of many of its shows and provides a unique opportunity for both Dublin residents and visitors to the city to see innovative and celebrated contemporary International artists and practices.
There are also dance, music, visual art streams and street and outdoor events and spectacles.
Date and details for 2023 subject to confirmation.
